Rebecca Clarke

Rebecca was born in 1846 in Northwold, Norfolk and her baptism took place there on May 31st, 1846.¹   Rebecca's father was Henry Clarke and her mother was Elizabeth Gibson.  Her paternal grandparents were John Clarke and Hannah Flatt; her maternal grandparents were Jacob Gibson and Elizabeth Bray. She had two brothers and three sisters, named James, John, Sarah, Ann and Martha.  She was the third youngest of the six children. She had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Henry, William, Robert, Rebecca, Rebecca and Sarah.
