Isabel was born on December 22nd, 1911 in Watsonville, Queensland.1  Isabel's father was Daniel Hext ROWLANDS and her mother was Winifred MORRIS.  Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Hext ROWLANDS and Ada TOUZEAU; her maternal grandparents were Alfred MORRIS and Cathleen HODGKINS. She had three brothers and two sisters, named George Alfred, Edward Alfred, Daniel Hext, Ivy and Kathleen.  She was the oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 78 on December 14th, 1990 in Mareeba.
