Edward Alfred's father was Daniel Hext ROWLANDS and his mother was Winifred MORRIS. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Hext ROWLANDS and Ada TOUZEAU; his maternal grandparents were Alfred MORRIS and Cathleen HODGKINS. He had two brothers and three sisters, named George Alfred, Daniel Hext, Isabel, Ivy and Kathleen. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 57 on March 20th, 1977.
