Albert Francis Gehan 
Albert was born in 1887 in Stawell, Victoria.1 Albert's father was Albert Gehan and his mother was Catherine (Kate) Mary Lloyd. His paternal grandparents were Francois Gehan and Lucie Ogier. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Peter, Francis, Charles, Herbert, Walter, xxxx, Michael, Elizabeth and Catherine. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 53 in 1940 in Ballarat, Victoria.1 Death Notes

"GEHAN.-On Tuesday the death occurred at Ballarat of Mr. Albert Francis Gehan, who as a contractor was well known in Stawell and district. Deceased, was was 52 years. of age, was a son of the. late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Gehan, of Lake Lonsdale. He was married to Miss. Ethel M. Davidson, of Deep Lead, and there are three children, The funeral took place at Stawell on Wednesday, the Rev. R. A. Donne conducting the service."
