Herbert James Gehan 
Herbert was born on August 16th, 1896 in Stawell, Victoria.1 Herbert's father was Albert Gehan and his mother was Catherine (Kate) Mary Lloyd. His paternal grandparents were Francois Gehan and Lucie Ogier. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Albert, Peter, Francis, Charles, Walter, xxxx, Michael, Elizabeth and Catherine. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 20 on August 18th, 1916 in France. He was buried on August 18th, 1916 in Pozieres Cemetery, France.1 2 Death Notes
