Walter Clarence Gehan 
Walter was born on January 9th, 1898 in Stawell, Victoria.1 Walter's father was Albert Gehan and his mother was Catherine (Kate) Mary Lloyd. His paternal grandparents were Francois Gehan and Lucie Ogier. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Albert, Peter, Francis, Charles, Herbert, xxxx, Michael, Elizabeth and Catherine. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 78 in 1976 in Razorback, (Near Picton), NSW 2571.2 Death Notes
NSW Death Cert No. 202202/1976 states that the death of Walter Clarence GEHAN was registered in NSW, in 1976, and states that it occurred in the vicinity of Razorback near Picton NSW. His parents names were not recorded on the extract.

Walter served in the AIF during WW1 and was promoted to the rank of Corporal before he was discharged in 1919. He spent most of his adult life in NSW country towns.
