John and Eliza were married in a religious ceremony on January 1st, 1876 at St. Peter's (Bolton).1 They had four sons and five daughters, named Samuel, James, John, Harry, Mary, Eliza, Jane, Sarah and Ada. There are no more children. Eliza and Jane were twins.
