The will of Benjamin Seed formerly of North Bierley in the Parish of Bradford in the county of York Farmer but late of Sand Beds in the township of Morton in the parish of Bingley in the said county Farmer and Innkeeper deceased who died 17 February 1863 at Sand Beds aforesaid was proved at Wakefield by the oaths of Jonas Seed of Horseforth in the parish of Guiseley in the said County Gentleman the Brother and Thomas Woodcock of Buttershaw in the Parish of Bradford aforesaid Farmer the Executors according to the Tenor of the Will.

Born after 6/1794 if 65 when she died.

1851 census shows Jane is from Crooklands, Westmorland, England.  Crooklands is a small village surrounded by a farming area.  St Patrick's Church at Crooklands is the parish Church of the cival parish of Preston-Patrick. It is a 16th century church, originally dedicated to St. Gregory, within the deanery of Kendal.

There is a Jane Hudson baptism at Kendal 13 Apr 1794, daughter of Wm Hudson (see below).  Although Jane (not Jenny) the abobe baptism is more likely as matches Crooklands. This Jane has a sister Isabella and were from Lowther (much further North).
