The will of Benjamin Seed formerly of North Bierley in the Parish of Bradford in the county of York Farmer but late of Sand Beds in the township of Morton in the parish of Bingley in the said county Farmer and Innkeeper deceased who died 17 February 1863 at Sand Beds aforesaid was proved at Wakefield by the oaths of Jonas Seed of Horseforth in the parish of Guiseley in the said County Gentleman the Brother and Thomas Woodcock of Buttershaw in the Parish of Bradford aforesaid Farmer the Executors according to the Tenor of the Will.

Benjamin was the son of John Seed from Corehouse, North Bierley, Bradford, a Stuff Maker or Manucacturer (the coarse part of flax).
Benjamin had been married before he maried Jane Smith in 1839, possibly All Lordoff 3-Mar-1829.
Benjamin was a widow when he married Jane in 1839.

Tuesday last, at the parish church, Bingley, by the Rev. J.
Cheadle, Vicar, Mr Benjamin Seed, of North Byerley, near
Bradford, farmer and cattle dealer, to Mrs Smith, of the Airedale Heifer Inn, near Bingler.
Cant find Benjamin on the 1841 census, but Jane was at Sand Beds as an Inn Keeper (with sons William and Henry). He was a tennant, and also had land to the edge of the river aire (shown on the details of the land auction when Sand Beds was sold by public auction).
Benjamin was at Carr House (a freehold cottage), 226 Brown Royd Hill, North Bierley in 1840, 1842, 1844 and 1858, 1862, 1863

Until after 1860 Benjamin's occupation was Farmer & Inn Keeper in Morton (Bingley).5
Benjamin and Jane were married in a religious & civil ceremony on October 15th, 1839 at All Saints (Bingley) by Vicar J Cheadle.6
