Nellie's father was Charles Watson and her mother was Ellen Mather. Her maternal grandparents were John Mather and Martha Jordan. She had three sisters named Martha, Edith and Ethel. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 70 on January 5th, 1955.
