13 April 1837, Mary Walmsley of Failsworth married William Taylor, a corn dealer at Manchester Cathederal by licence. This may be another!Q
Mary's marriage may have been earlier as Mary Walmsley married another William Taylor, a weaver 14 Jul 1833 at Deane. Deane and weaver are a better match, but Mary was only 18, so perhaps she lied about her age.
15 Oct 1854, Mary Taylor, widow, daughter of John Walmsley, a weaver, married George Austin, spinner, son of William an engineer from Tyldesley.
In 1861, Mary and George Astin (48 & 49) were at Tyldesley with John and James Aster from George's first marriage and Ann Taylor (step-daughter, 19).
