Sarah was born in November 1824 in Acton by Nantwich and her baptism took place there on November 18th, 1824.¹

Birth Notes

Sarah's father was Richard Vicars and her mother was Fanny (Frances) Brereton. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Brereton and Hannah Vicars. She had a brother and two sisters, named Joseph, Hannah and Catherine. She was the youngest of the four children.
