Catherine was born in September 1822 and her baptism took place on September 22nd, 1822 in Acton by Nantwich.¹

Birth Notes

Catherine's father was Richard Vicars and her mother was Fanny (Frances) Brereton. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Brereton and Hannah Vicars. She had a brother and two sisters, named Joseph, Hannah and Sarah. She was the second youngest of the four children.
