Thomas Timmis

Thomas was born in 1903 in Whitby (Ellesmere Port).¹   Thomas' father was George Timmis and his mother was Sarah Jones.  George Timmis and Mary Price were his grandparents through his father's adoption.  Joseph Jones and Mary Jones were his grandparents through his mother's adoption. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, George, James, Polly, Elizabeth, Sarah, Martha and Elsie.  He was the third youngest of the nine known children.
