Anne's father was George Stocks and her mother was Elizabeth Ainley.  Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Stocks and Lydia Wilkinson. She had a brother and four sisters, named Ainley, Priscilla, Agnes, Mary and George.  Priscilla and Anne were twins. She had three half-brothers named Samuel, James and Alfred.  She died at the age of 2 in February 1859 in Huddersfield.  She was buried on February 24th, 1859 at Woodhouse Christ Church.²
