Charlotte was born in 1830 in Honley and her baptism took place there on April 11th, 1830.1  Charlotte's father was James Stocks and her mother was Esther Moorhouse.  Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Stocks and Sally (Sarah) Brook. She had a brother and four sisters, named James, Ann, Mary, Sarah and Esther.  She was the third youngest of the six children.  She died at the age of 84 in March 1914 in Ireland.2 



Charlotte's family with Edward Davies

‌Charlotte and Edward were married in a religious ceremony on October 2nd, 1855 in Honley.3   They had two sons and a daughter, named William, Walter and Frances.  There are no more children.
