Martha Singleton

Martha was born in 1812 in Hollinwood and her baptism took place on June 7th, 1812 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Martha's father was James Singleton and her mother was Alice Greenhalgh. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, Amelia, James, Alice, Elizabeth and Sarah. She was the sixth oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 66 in October 1878 in Bolton.²
