Martha Shaw

Martha was born in May 1758 at DeadManStone and her baptism took place on May 15th, 1758 in Almondbury.¹

Martha's father was Thomas Shaw and her mother was Elizabeth Perkin.  Her maternal grandparents were George Parkin and Susana (Hanah) Gleadhill . She had a sister named Hanah.  She was the older of the two children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, and also four half-siblings of unknown gender, named George, Samuel, Sally, Susannah, <child>, <child>, <child> and <child>.
