Mary Riding

Mary was born on April 12th, 1802 in Blackrod and her christening took place on May 2nd, 1802 at St. Katherine (B'rod).¹

Mary's father was Joseph Riding and her mother was Molly Gorner. She had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Thomas, James, Bernard, Margaret and Alice.  She was the second youngest of the seven children.
