Alice Riding

Alice was born on July 25th, 1804 in Blackrod and her christening took place on August 13th, 1804 at St. Katherine (B'rod).¹

Alice's father was Joseph Riding and her mother was Molly Gorner. She had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Thomas, James, Bernard, Margaret and Mary.  She was the youngest of the seven children.
