Miles Pollitt 
Miles was born on August 12th, 1847 in Bolton.1 Miles' father was William Pollitt and his mother was Esther Holt. His paternal grandparents were Richard Pollitt and Mary Davenport; his maternal grandparents were James Holt and Fanny Hamer. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Elijah, Albert, Mary, Lois and Emily. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 31 on June 29th, 1879 in Bolton.1 -
