Solomon Pilling

Solomon's father was James Pilling and his mother was Alice Mather. His maternal grandparents were Solomon Mather and Jane Scowcroft. He had a brother and three sisters, named Harrison, Elizabeth, Ada and Alice. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 2 in October 1869 in Elton. His burial was on October 14th, 1869 at All Saints (Elton).³
