Ada Pilling

Ada was born on April 15th, 1872 in Elton and her baptism took place on September 20th, 1872 at All Saints (Elton).¹²

Ada's father was James Pilling and her mother was Alice Mather. Her maternal grandparents were Solomon Mather and Jane Scowcroft. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Solomon, Harrison, Elizabeth and Alice. She was the fourth oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 1 in August 1873 in Elton. Her burial was on August 16th, 1873 at All Saints (Elton).³⁴
