Miles Nightingale

Miles was born on September 28th, 1765 in Horwich and his christening took place there on September 29th, 1765.¹

Miles' father was Humphrey Nightingale and his mother was Alice Nightingale.  His paternal grandparents were Robert Nightingale and Maria Hodson. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Robert, John, James, Humphrey, Mary, Betty, Alice and Margaret.  He was the second youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 69 in January 1835.  He was buried on January 3rd, 1835.¹
