James Monks

James' father was Nathan Monks and his mother was Jane Mather.  His maternal grandparents were Samuel Mather and Ellen Green. He had two brothers and a sister, named Edward, John and Mary.  He was the second oldest of the four known children.  He died at the age of 55 in July 1876 in Bolton.
