William was born in January 1856 in Bistre and his baptism took place there on February 20th, 1856.¹

Birth Notes

William's father was Charles Millington and his mother was Ann Shone. His paternal grandparents were William Millington and Jane Williams. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John, Joseph, Charles, Charles, Jane, Rosanna, Rose and Mary. He had an adopted brother named Robert. He died at the age of 85 in 1941.
