Ann's father was George Millington and her mother was Catherine Thornton.  Her paternal grandparents were William Millington and Elizabeth (Mary) Hewitt. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Wiliam, John, Mary, Hannah, Elizabeth and Jane.  She was the third youngest of the seven known children.
