William Aldersey Meredith

William was born in 1865 in Aldford and his baptism took place on December 31st, 1865 in Liverpool.¹²

William's father was Samuel Meredith and his mother was Alice Stananought. His maternal grandparents were James Stananought and Jane Mullock. He had two brothers and three sisters, named James, Samuel, Mary, Annie and Alice. He was the second oldest of the six children.
