William Mather

William was born in 1870 in Edgworth.¹

William's father was John Edward Mather and his mother was Grace Durham. His paternal grandparents were George Mather and Hannah Simm. He had two brothers and six sisters, named John, Charles, Hannah, Jane, Margaret, Mary, Sarah and Ada. He was the second oldest of the nine children.
