William Mather

William was born before 1754 in Leigh.

  No baptism records, but cant be born between any of the other children, so born before Catherine.

William's father was Thomas Mather and his mother was Mary Mather. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, John, Joseph, Robert, Catherine and Mary.  He was the oldest of the seven known children.  He died in June 1775 in Pennington.  He was buried on June 30th, 1775 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Leigh).^1 1
