In 1851, Thomas (18) was a bed quilt maker with his parents Simon and Ellen in Little Bolton.
In Q2 1855 Thomas married Harriet Horrocks, (Bolton RO).
In 1861, Thomas was away. Harriet Mather (Mar, 24) and daughter Eliza Ann (4) were lodging with Elizabeth Booth (30, head) at Flag Row, Turton.
In 1866, Thomas has his daughter Eliza Ann baptised at Walmsley. She was aged 9.
Thomas and Harriet were married in a civil ceremony in April 1855 in Bolton.2
