Thomas Mather

Thomas was born in June 1843 in Bolton and his baptism took place on September 10th, 1843 in Hindley.¹²

Thomas' father was Joshua Mather and his mother was Elizabeth Kay. His paternal grandparents were John Mather and Margaret (Peggy) Smith. He had a brother and three sisters, named John, Catherine, Margaret and Elizabeth. He was the fourth oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 66 in October 1909 in Bolton.³
