Margaret Mather

Margaret was born in 1830 in Walton-le-Dale and her baptism took place there on January 10th, 1830.¹

Margaret's father was Joshua Mather and her mother was Elizabeth Kay.  Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Margaret (Peggy) Smith. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, Catherine, Margaret and Elizabeth.  She was the oldest of the six children.  She died in December 1830 in Walton-le-Dale.  She was buried on December 25th, 1830 in Walton-le-Dale.²
