Thomas Mather

Thomas was born in 1756 in Little Bolton and his baptism took place on July 18th, 1756 in Bolton.¹

Thomas' father was John Mather and his mother was Jane Holt. His paternal grandparents were Abraham Mather and Ales (Alice) Rothwell. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, James, Ann, Margaret and Mary. He was the fifth oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 4 in November 1760 in Radcliffe. His burial was on November 6th, 1760 at Turton Chapel.²
