Sarah was born in March 1870 in Horwich.¹

Birth Notes

Sarah's father was John Mather and her mother was Esther Thornley. Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Jane (Jenny) Roskell. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Nathaniel, Mary and Eliza. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died in March 1870 in Horwich.²
