Richard Mather

Richard was born in April 1798 in Whitefield and his baptism took place on April 8th, 1798 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Prestwich).¹

Richard's father was Thomas Mather and his mother was Ann Ingham.  His paternal grandparents were Robert Madther and Rachel Ogden. He had three brothers named Robert, James and Thomas.  He was the second youngest of the four children.  He died at the age of 1 in March 1800 in Whitefield.  He was buried on March 2nd, 1800 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Prestwich).¹
