Peter Taylor Mather

Peter was born in 1800 in Whitefield and his baptism took place on October 26th, 1800 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Prestwich).

- Not Peter son of James and Mary from Radcliffe born 1798, as he was a labourer and married twice. Possibly Peter Bonepark Mather, born 1802:

Peter's father was James Taylor and his mother was Rachel Madther. His maternal grandparents were Robert Madther and Rachel Ogden. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William, John, Thomas, William, Rachel and Sarah. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 37 in December 1837 in Whitefield. His burial was on December 10th, 1837 at All Saints (Stand).¹¹

  Peter and Alice died in 1837 and are buried at All Saints, Stand
