Mary Ann Mather

Mary was born in December 1858 in Little Bolton and her baptism took place on April 7th, 1878 at St. Paul (Halliwell).¹²

Mary's father was Wright Mather and her mother was Sarah Powell. Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Ann Coup. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Walter, John, Eliza, Eliza, Emma and Sarah. She was the third oldest of the seven children.
