Mary Mather

Mary was born on March 10th, 1824 in Middleton and her baptism took place there on April 25th, 1824.¹

Mary's father was James Mather and her mother was <Unknown>. Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Betty Bentley. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, James, Henry, James, Joseph, Ann, Elisha and Alice. She was the third oldest of the nine children. She died at 10 months old in January 1825 in Bury. Her burial was on January 28th, 1825 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Bury).²
