Jonathan Mather

Jonathan was born in 1837 in Withnell and his baptism took place on May 3rd, 1837 in Tockholes.¹

Jonathan's father was Edmund Mather and his mother was Jane (Jenny) Marsden.  His paternal grandparents were James Mather and Esther Mason. He had a brother named Thomas.  He was the younger of the two children. He had a half-brother named James.  He died at the age of 50 in 1887 in Manchester.²
