John Hardman Mather

John was born in March 1848 in Farnworth.¹

John's father was Henry Mather and his mother was Margaret Wolfendale. His paternal grandparents were Robert Mather and Elizabeth (Betty) Hardman. He had a brother and two sisters, named Thomas, Jane and Betsy. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 1 in June 1849 in Farnworth. His burial was on June 13th, 1849 at St. Mary (Deane).²
