In 1841, John was with his father Jacob, but not 1851 so its assumed he married (no matching Bolton marriage).
25 July 1847, John Mather, son of Jacob a warper married Mary Ann Wilson at Didsbury, St James, Lancashire. Both were living at Withington.

James died between 1887 (after Alexander's birth) and 1909 (when his son William Married). There are four possibilities, two in Lancashire:
James may have died before 1901 when the three youngest were with their uncle and aunt. South Shields, Durham is possible as his son Alexander may have married there in 1915, although ippears to be another Alexander, son of Jane
