James Mather

James was born in November 1830 in Bolton and his christening took place on December 5th, 1830 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

James' father was Jacob Mather and his mother was Sarah Sandels. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Mather and Catharine Ainsworth. He had two brothers named John and William. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 1 in February 1832 in Bolton. His burial was on March 2nd, 1832 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹
