James Mather

James' father was James Mather and his mother was Mary (Nancy) Stott. He had a brother and six sisters, named John, Betty, Hannah, Rachel, Martha, Sarah and Mary. He was the seventh oldest of the eight children.

  In 1900, Another (or possibly the same) James Mather, aged 74, born 1825 England, was a Grocer on the Falls Road, Baltimore, Maryland and had been in the US 54 years. He had a daughter Emily born 1868 in Maryland. He was a shoemaker when younger.
