Isaac Mather

Isaac was born in July 1794 in Warrington and his baptism took place on July 6th, 1794 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹

Isaac's father was Ralph Mather and his mother was Martha Houghton. His paternal grandparents were John Mather and Ellen Blinstone. He had a sister named Barbara. He was the younger of the two children. He had a half-sister named Betty. He died at the age of 64 in March 1859 in Great Boughton.²

  13 Aug 1832, Isaac married Margaret Morris at Grappenhall, Cheshire. They had 5 daughters including Barbara in 1840, named after his sister.
  
  In 1851, Isaac (born Warrington) was a shoemaker at Tattenhall, Chester.
  
  20 Jul 1869, Isaac's daughter Ann married John Long, a tailor, at Liverpool St Peter. Isaac is recorded as a Bootmaker.
