Barbara Mather

Barbara was born in March 1792 in Warrington and her baptism took place on March 4th, 1792 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹

Barbara's father was Ralph Mather and her mother was Martha Houghton. Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Ellen Blinstone. She had a brother named Isaac. She was the older of the two children. She had a half-sister named Betty.

General Notes
- About 1814, Barbara Mather of Warrington had a bastard child (Margaret). The reputed father was William Foulds of Liverpool, a butcher. She was living at Cockhedge, Warrington when Margaret was baptised.
