Hannah Mather

Hannah was born in 1788 in Tyldesley and her baptism took place on April 12th, 1788 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Leigh).¹

Hannah's father was Jeffery Mather and her mother was Mary Hampson.  Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Ann Whittle. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, James, Elizabeth and Ann.  She was the second oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 2 in December 1790 in Tyldesley.  She was buried on December 17th, 1790 in Tyldesley.²
