Elen was born in September 1758 in Warrington and her baptism took place on September 22nd, 1758 at St. Elphin (Warrington).1  Elen's father was John Mather and her mother was Margaret Newell.  Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Ellen Blinstone. She had a brother and two sisters, named John, Alice and Mary. She had an adopted brother named Peter.  She died at 2 months old in November 1758 in Warrington.  Her burial was on November 2nd, 1758 at St. Elphin (Warrington).1
