David Mather

David was born in July 1794 in Little Hulton and his baptism took place on July 27th, 1794 at Peel Chapel.¹

David's father was Noah Mather and his mother was Mary Hilton. His paternal grandparents were John Mather and <unknown>. He had two brothers and five sisters, named John, Thomas, Ann, Betty, Phoebe, Phoebe and Sophia. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 19 in May 1814 in Little Hulton. He was buried on May 17th, 1814 in Horwich.²²
