In 1871, Charles "Waddicor" (17) and brother Peter (15) were with parents Andrew and Sarah Waddicore (54 & 40).
Before they married, in 1871 Mari had a son Alfred that died an infant and then in 1875 Sarah Ann who survived.
Charles Mather and Maria Hough married in 1876 and lived at Edgworth. They had a girl and boy die as infants (un-named) in 1881 and 1882 before Andrew in 1884 who also died an infant.
4 Nov 1876 Charles Mather (23), a fire beater from quarlton, illegitimate, married Maria Hough (24), daughter of James Hough a block printer. (There is another marriage for Charles Mather and Mary Hough in 1873 at Christ Church, Bolton).
In 1881, Charles and Maria (27 & 28) were at Hoilland Cottage, Quarlton with Sarah Alice Mather (6) and Maria's father and brother
In 1891, Charles and Maria (38 & 39) were at 133 Bury Road, Edgworth with daughter Sarah A Hough (16), Ada (4) and Lilly (1)
In 1901, Charles and Maria (48 & 49) were at 333 Hollins Cottage, Edgworth with Ada (14) and Lilly (11) and Peter Waddicor (46)
In 1911, Charles and Maria (59 & 60) were at 333 Hollins Cottage, Quarlton with Lilly (21) and Charles's brother Peter Waddicar (55)
